Brand New Hand Built 7ft 6 Two Piece Split Cane #4 Fly Rod called The Perfectionist. The rod has been built on a Chapmans of Ware, Herts Dark-Flamed Split Cane blank. The ferrule is made from Nickel Silver and comes with a hard wood ferrule stopper. The handle is half wells shaped and made from fine grade cork. The reel fitting is made from machined brass with a recessed hood and nickel plate finish. The barrel/insert is made from walnut and has a satin finish. The butt ring is a low bridge ring lined with Green Jade and the intermediate rings are traditional American Style chrome snakes finishing with a hayfork tip ring. There is also a hook keeper ring just above the cork handle. The rod has been whipped in Garnet thread tipped in light green and then the whole rod finished using a very high-grade gloss spar yacht varnish. The rod comes with a high-quality bespoke khaki drill rod bag together with a protective tube.
