Diamondback Diamond Glass 70 4 WT 2 Piece Fly Rod. Rare find original Diamond Glass fly rod produced by The Diamondback Company in Cortland, NY. The rod is in exceptional condition and was well cared for.
The rod tube does show a little bit of age, but is in very good condition with no dents. The rod is from my personal collection and has been gently fished. The rods action is spectacular, buttery smooth, slow, accurate and perfect for small stream wild trout fishing! Truly a fly rod for glass aficionados. Beautiful deep black blank color with wine colored guide wraps. The seat is a beautiful rosewood with chrome up locking reel seat hardware. The reel foot slides into a recessed hood. The cork handle is a gently tapered western grip that tapers into the winding check and blank. The cork is in good condition for the age of the rod. Some minor scuffs present on the reel seat hardware. The overall condition of this rod is excellent for the age. Please see photos for condition, this is the actual fly rod you are purchasing.
