This is a Custom made 7-8 WT Graphite fly fishing rod each individually hand numbered out of 1235 produced In recognition of the 1235 lb. Blue Marlin Hall of Fame member Ted Williams caught in 1954 with Ted Williams facsimile signature in gold on the shaft.It was designed to specifications as originally requested by Ted to a length of 9' 3. Construction materials are of the highest quality including rosewood fly reel seat and Portuguese cork this rod has never.
Been used and is in mint condition. The action seems moderate-fast to me-with a heavily reinforced section near the butt-so it can probably punch large steelhead and salmon flies into the wind nicely, if you decide to fish with it.
