Headwaters Bamboo Rod Company Premier Series "Henry's Fork" model bamboo fly rod, genuine imported Tonkin cane built by American craftsmen in the USA: 7'9 5-weight, two piece with two tips; deep dark caramel flamed finish, nickel silver snake guides, red-orange agate stripping guide, winding check and hook keeper; wrapped in black silks tipped with silver; best quality fluor grade Portuguese cork cigar-shaped grip; based on PH Young Para 14 taper; medium fast, parabolic action. Comes with heavy cotton poplin bag and original cordura rod case. Lawn cast with a Headwaters braided silk 5-weight line, a Cortland Sylk 5-weight double taper line and a Scientific Angler 6-weight WF line. Performs best with the 6-weight WF line for distance, and the Cortland DT for shorter casts with delicate flies.

Also recently "field tested" on the 5-pound 23 Kamloops rainbow trout (see picture #11). Plenty of backbone and strong butt section, handled a large fighting trout with ease and toughness.
