The Clearwater 7-Weight 9' Fly Rod is at home in a number of situations, from throwing heavy streamers and nymph rigs to trout, to dropping big poppers in the lily pads for big bass. With plenty of backbone to fight big fish, this rod is at home in any situation where strength is needed, but larger big game rods would be overkill.
