Vintage F. E. Thomas Special Streamer Bamboo Fly Rod 9'0 3/2 Bamboo Rod Rare
Here up for sale is a a very nice vintage F. Thomas Special Streamer 9'0 3/2 bamboo fly rod. The rod is in good shape with all sections being equal and full length without damage or scarfs.
The ferrules sizes are #19 & #13 with all having excellent fitment. The info received on the rod from the FE Thomas ledger is: #EF-125(stamed at the bottom of butt cap) was the 125th rod made in 1947, and is listed as 9'0 3/2 Thomas Special, Streamer rod, with Hardy style locking seat, Half Wells grip, Dark Brown silk tipped with Red (at the base of each section), and weighs 5 7/8 oz.
